Welcome

This is the internet home of the Royal Harmonics, a male a cappella chorus with over 40 members, and the 2008 British Barbershop Chorus Silver Medallists. We are based in the historic town of Windsor in Berkshire.

The roots of the chorus are in the barbershop singing tradition, but we perform a variety of unaccompanied vocal styles with an emphasis on entertainment for our audiences – contemporary, folk, gospel, even classical, and of course the ringing chords of the pure barbershop style itself.

The Royal Harmonics are part of Windsor A Cappella, a club that is home not just to the chorus, but also to quartets and other groupings that share our ideals. We specialise in presenting freely staged and fluid performances with an emphasis on variety and, above all, quality entertainment for audiences, and can provide anything from a cabaret spot to a fully produced show.

In May 2008 we won the silver medal at the British Association of Barbershop Singers’ annual convention, competing against 37 other choruses. You can listen to our award-winning performance by clicking here.
